Greetings from Caux Initiatives for Business!

This month of July, CIB has looked at three news items to bring to you as updates of its activities. You may recall that the previous three issues of CIB on Wings carried reports of some of the activities that was carried out by the team in Malaysia; the first covered the Round Table in KL; the second, a report on a Tea Talk given by Sarosh Ghandy and Vivek Asrani; and the last issue provided you a link to a radio interview that these two gentlemen gave to a business broadcasting station. In this issue, we are pleased to carry a brief report on a meeting that K. Haridas organized with a Minister in the Malaysian Government.

Another news report that we bring to you is a brief on the visit that Sarosh Ghandy and Folker Mittag undertook to South Africa.

A third update fills you in on some of the happenings behind the scenes that the CIB India team has been involved with.

WHO WE ARE

Initiatives of Change for Business is an international fellowship for businesspersons — a comradeship of like-minded individuals who are committed to furthering ethical practices in their work and convincing an increasing number of their business colleagues that “one can be ethical in one’s business dealings and still be competitive”.  

WHAT WE DO

Initiatives of Change for Business (ICB) is a forum for its members to discuss the business environment, in its various aspects and help find solutions to the problems that they face or may face in maintaining high ethical standards in their dealings.

FOCUS AREA

Engage business people and decision makers in honest conversations and action on the issues associated with globalization and the human face of economics

Highlight the role that each individual can play in bringing positive changes in business and economic life, and sharing related experience;

Equip people with practical tools, grounded in a moral and ethical framework, for use in their places of work.
