IofC Korea co-hosted the first CIB Round Table (RT) in Seoul with Human Development Institute on 20 November. The theme was “Sustainability and Ethical Practices in the Corporate”. Sarosh Ghandy, director of CIB International and Folker Mittag, member of CIB International supported the occasion. Sarosh made opening remarks and also shared his experiences what he had learnt and practiced while he was working with TATA.

30 CEOs/MDs participated with 10 observers. The program was sponsored by TATA-DAEWOO.

WHO WE ARE

Initiatives of Change for Business is an international fellowship for businesspersons — a comradeship of like-minded individuals who are committed to furthering ethical practices in their work and convincing an increasing number of their business colleagues that “one can be ethical in one’s business dealings and still be competitive”.  

WHAT WE DO

Initiatives of Change for Business (ICB) is a forum for its members to discuss the business environment, in its various aspects and help find solutions to the problems that they face or may face in maintaining high ethical standards in their dealings.

FOCUS AREA

Engage business people and decision makers in honest conversations and action on the issues associated with globalization and the human face of economics

Highlight the role that each individual can play in bringing positive changes in business and economic life, and sharing related experience;

Equip people with practical tools, grounded in a moral and ethical framework, for use in their places of work.
