As an Editor of the Himmat magazine and also as an author of several books, Russi M. Lala exemplified courage, ethics and trust in God as a way of life.

Russi was one of the guiding spirits behind Initiatives of Change (IofC) and his passing away in 2012 deprived it of his spiritual and intellectual guidance.

In commemoration of his contribution to the IofC movement, Caux Initiatives for Business (CIB) has decided to institute an Annual Memorial Lecture Series to further sustainability and the importance of ethics and values in economic life and growth.

WHO WE ARE

Initiatives of Change for Business is an international fellowship for businesspersons — a comradeship of like-minded individuals who are committed to furthering ethical practices in their work and convincing an increasing number of their business colleagues that “one can be ethical in one’s business dealings and still be competitive”.  

WHAT WE DO

Initiatives of Change for Business (ICB) is a forum for its members to discuss the business environment, in its various aspects and help find solutions to the problems that they face or may face in maintaining high ethical standards in their dealings.

FOCUS AREA

Engage business people and decision makers in honest conversations and action on the issues associated with globalization and the human face of economics

Highlight the role that each individual can play in bringing positive changes in business and economic life, and sharing related experience;

Equip people with practical tools, grounded in a moral and ethical framework, for use in their places of work.
