In the July 2018 issue of CIB on Wings, we had covered the programs conducted for Coal India Ltd. This issue relates to another public sector company that also deals with power. This company is renowned for being a very successful, corruption-free and focused organization. Members from IC-Centre for Governance (IC-CfG) and Initiatives of Change (IofC) together worked to making this program unique, despite challenges.

Another news piece brought to you covers the meeting that the CIB India Working Group had recently at Mumbai. Senior business leaders who form the core team of CIB India, spent close to 180 minutes talking on important issues; each bringing their wisdom to the table.

WHO WE ARE

Initiatives of Change for Business is an international fellowship for businesspersons — a comradeship of like-minded individuals who are committed to furthering ethical practices in their work and convincing an increasing number of their business colleagues that “one can be ethical in one’s business dealings and still be competitive”.  

WHAT WE DO

Initiatives of Change for Business (ICB) is a forum for its members to discuss the business environment, in its various aspects and help find solutions to the problems that they face or may face in maintaining high ethical standards in their dealings.

FOCUS AREA

Engage business people and decision makers in honest conversations and action on the issues associated with globalization and the human face of economics

Highlight the role that each individual can play in bringing positive changes in business and economic life, and sharing related experience;

Equip people with practical tools, grounded in a moral and ethical framework, for use in their places of work.
