The efforts of Caux Initiatives for Business to help build ethical organizations (or individuals) by sharing the experiences of its members with others who may be confronted by similar issues was exemplified when a couple of members from the CIB India team reached out to young business leaders of tomorrow when they participated in an event organized by the Pune University’s Masters of Business Administration (PUMBA). In this issue you will read how Anil Chopra presented the Keynote Adress and interacted with the students and faculty.

Further updates on the planning in the CIB India Working Group meeting and the CIB 2016 Conference in January occupy the other pages of this Newsletter.

We have also decided to include a Book Review of a colleague and author, Michael Smith from UK on his recently published, “Great Company”.

WHO WE ARE

Initiatives of Change for Business is an international fellowship for businesspersons — a comradeship of like-minded individuals who are committed to furthering ethical practices in their work and convincing an increasing number of their business colleagues that “one can be ethical in one’s business dealings and still be competitive”.  

WHAT WE DO

Initiatives of Change for Business (ICB) is a forum for its members to discuss the business environment, in its various aspects and help find solutions to the problems that they face or may face in maintaining high ethical standards in their dealings.

FOCUS AREA

Engage business people and decision makers in honest conversations and action on the issues associated with globalization and the human face of economics

Highlight the role that each individual can play in bringing positive changes in business and economic life, and sharing related experience;

Equip people with practical tools, grounded in a moral and ethical framework, for use in their places of work.
