Caux Initiatives for Business was particularly pleased with the Round Table deliberations that took place in Pune on September 25, 2015. It was not just the presence of leaders from business and industry that made the event great but also the quality of sharing. The ensuing pages captures briefly what took place during the three hours when these delegates deliberated if business could change in order to change India.

Another report covers the Inaugural Address that Sunil Mathur, CEO and MD, Siemens Ltd. (India) delivered at a Conference organized by Trust and Integrity in a Global Economy (TIGE). The event took place at the Initiatives of Change Centre at the beautiful Caux Palace in Switzerland.

WHO WE ARE

Initiatives of Change for Business is an international fellowship for businesspersons — a comradeship of like-minded individuals who are committed to furthering ethical practices in their work and convincing an increasing number of their business colleagues that “one can be ethical in one’s business dealings and still be competitive”.  

WHAT WE DO

Initiatives of Change for Business (ICB) is a forum for its members to discuss the business environment, in its various aspects and help find solutions to the problems that they face or may face in maintaining high ethical standards in their dealings.

FOCUS AREA

Engage business people and decision makers in honest conversations and action on the issues associated with globalization and the human face of economics

Highlight the role that each individual can play in bringing positive changes in business and economic life, and sharing related experience;

Equip people with practical tools, grounded in a moral and ethical framework, for use in their places of work.
