Caux Initiatives for Business conducted its second Round Table deliberations in 2015, on October 30, this time in Bengaluru. A mix of senior industry leaders from the IT, manufacturing and service industry provided for a wholesome discussion on how business can change, if India is to change. The ensuing pages capture briefly what took place during the three hours that heads of business and industry discussed this issue.

Folker Mittag’s interaction in Frankfurt is another piece of news that we carry in this issue as an update.

WHO WE ARE

Initiatives of Change for Business is an international fellowship for businesspersons — a comradeship of like-minded individuals who are committed to furthering ethical practices in their work and convincing an increasing number of their business colleagues that “one can be ethical in one’s business dealings and still be competitive”.  

WHAT WE DO

Initiatives of Change for Business (ICB) is a forum for its members to discuss the business environment, in its various aspects and help find solutions to the problems that they face or may face in maintaining high ethical standards in their dealings.

FOCUS AREA

Engage business people and decision makers in honest conversations and action on the issues associated with globalization and the human face of economics

Highlight the role that each individual can play in bringing positive changes in business and economic life, and sharing related experience;

Equip people with practical tools, grounded in a moral and ethical framework, for use in their places of work.
