The CIB Pune Chapter with its vibrant team has been consistent in following through with its purpose of engaging leaders from business and industry to deliberate on how businesses can remain competitive while still being ethical.

This was the sixth Round Table that Caux Initiatives for Business has held in the city of Pune. Each time the discussions and involvement has moved a notch higher. In the recently concluded Round Table that was conducted in June at Thermax Ltd. the CIB Pune team’s journey in engaging leaders from business has only gained greater focus and direction.

Caux Initiatives for Business is very pleased to carry the report of the deliberations that took place at this Round Table.

WHO WE ARE

Initiatives of Change for Business is an international fellowship for businesspersons — a comradeship of like-minded individuals who are committed to furthering ethical practices in their work and convincing an increasing number of their business colleagues that “one can be ethical in one’s business dealings and still be competitive”.  

WHAT WE DO

Initiatives of Change for Business (ICB) is a forum for its members to discuss the business environment, in its various aspects and help find solutions to the problems that they face or may face in maintaining high ethical standards in their dealings.

FOCUS AREA

Engage business people and decision makers in honest conversations and action on the issues associated with globalization and the human face of economics

Highlight the role that each individual can play in bringing positive changes in business and economic life, and sharing related experience;

Equip people with practical tools, grounded in a moral and ethical framework, for use in their places of work.
