Chairman visits Kenya – A Report

Caux Initiatives for Business (CIB) has finally come of age in Kenya. This follows a successful visit to Kenya by CIB Director, Sarosh Ghandy from India and Folker Mittag from Germany. Their visit from May 23 to 30, 2015 came at a time when a national debate was going on. The theme of the debate was on how ethically we conduct our national affairs. Both Sarosh and Folker quickly familiarised themselves with the country.

WHO WE ARE

Initiatives of Change for Business is an international fellowship for businesspersons — a comradeship of like-minded individuals who are committed to furthering ethical practices in their work and convincing an increasing number of their business colleagues that “one can be ethical in one’s business dealings and still be competitive”.  

WHAT WE DO

Initiatives of Change for Business (ICB) is a forum for its members to discuss the business environment, in its various aspects and help find solutions to the problems that they face or may face in maintaining high ethical standards in their dealings.

FOCUS AREA

Engage business people and decision makers in honest conversations and action on the issues associated with globalization and the human face of economics

Highlight the role that each individual can play in bringing positive changes in business and economic life, and sharing related experience;

Equip people with practical tools, grounded in a moral and ethical framework, for use in their places of work.
